According to a report, The 44-year-old actor was travelling from Ahmedabad to Jaipur by road when he complained of having fever and had decided to visit a nearby doctor in Jaipur at around 3am.
“Aamir Khan came to me with a running temperature suffering from viral and a sore throat. He stayed for 30 minutes, when we discussed a bit about his movies. It was a treat to me and my wife finding Aamir Khan infront of us.” said Dr Punit Saxena, Associate Professor at the Sawai Man Singh Hospital.

Despite the fact that Karan Johar's Wake Up Sid was, in part, a love letter to the city of Mumbai, when the film was released in early October, MNS party activists were sent to disrupt screenings. Why? In a few instances, the dialogues had characters referring to the city as 'Bombay' instead of 'Mumbai.' Karan rushed out to meet Thackarey to apologize and inserted a frame in front of the beginning of the film that apologizes for the mis-naming.
My Name Is Khan
The film re-unites the super-hit jodi of SRK and Kajol after a hiatus of nearly 7 years (they were last seen in Karan Johar's Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham in 2001)
The film is based on a real life story where the protagonist, Rizwan Khan is suffering from a rare disease called Asperger’s Disease which causes physical clumsiness and atypical use of language. The film is set in the city of New York.
Jimmy Shiergill plays Shahrukh’s brother in the movie. Kajol plays the love interest of Shahrukh for the film.
Karan Johar, through this movie, wants to convey a strong message of humanity, especially about the treatment meted out to people suffering from this rare disorder. Through his character, ShahRukh Khan undergoes a transformation in his outlook about life and the whole world, while he is being held captive by some miscreants for a few weeks. The film will also try to show that if given right counselling to such people, they would be able to easily adjust with the society like any other normal citizen.
Ajab Prem Ki Ghazab Kahani
In Santoshi's Ajab Prem Ki Ghazab Kahani Ranbir plays the melancholy lover-boy hopelessly in love with the idea of being in love. The character was immortalized by Raj Kapoor in Mera Naam Joker and before him, Chaplin in City Lights. Ranbir in Ajab Prem Ki Ghazab Kahani plays Prem a true inheritor of the two imperishable heroes from the past. He is an innocent guy with a heart of gold. There will be distinct elements of Charlie Chaplin and Raj kapoor , but not too much though.
Katrina Kaif plays a character that closely resembles what she is in real life. A little lost, a little out of it. Credulous, artless and trusting, a girl who believes in the goodness of all things. The film requires her to be young and trendy. Apparently She was excited to do this role working with Ranbir kapoor since this would be the first time that she would be paired with someone closer to her own age.
The film is slated to be released in the first half of the year 2009.
Blue
Blue which is supposed to be India’s first ‘official’ underwater film is a thriller story involving crucial scenes by the lead actors Sanjay Dutt and Akshay Kumar (who plays a fisherman based in the Bahamas) beneath sea water.
Lara Dutta plays the character of a glamorous beach babe and is paired opposite to Sanjay Dutt in the movie.The international technician crew consisting of Nickolette Skarlatos and Clarabelle Saldanha (who worked on Megan Fox in the Hollywood film ‘Transformers’ ) compared Lara’s look very similar to Megan Fox. Katrina Kaif was initially taken in to do just an item song , but the producers later on extended her role as they felt that an Akshay-Katrina starrer would again prove to be a lucky pairing at the box office.
The film is being made on a lavish scale of a 100-150 crores. The producers are leaving no stone unturned to make this movie have an ‘International’ feel, and have roped in many Hollywood top notch technicians, along with the Australian sensational singer Kylie Minogue, who will be seen in two of the most hype about songs of the movie, choreographed by Farah Khan.
Atithi Tum Kab Jaoge?
Slated for 26th February 2010 release, ‘Atithi Tum Kab Jaoge’ stars three national award winners (Ajay Devgan, Konkona Sen Sharma and Paresh Rawal) in the lead roles. This Warner Bros. Pictures India and Wide Frame Films production is a light hearted comedy directed by Ashwni Dhir. The music for the film has been composed by Pritam with choreography by Raju Khan and Ahmed Khan.
Ajay and Konkona play a married couple who land up with an uninvited guest (Paresh Rawal) at their home who lives for a long duration by continuously extending his stay. The shoot for the flick has been completed and owing to its brilliant star cast, the movie is creating stirs even before its release.Wanted
The year 2009 was great for the box-office and our desi films fared quite well despite competition from some very good Hollywood blockbusters like ‘2012’ and ‘Avataar’. Starring Salman Khan and Ayesha Takia this film has been the highest grosser of the year with a collection of Rs. 75 crores. This film is a directorial debut of Prabhudeva and has Salman Khan play the character of a sharp shooter and Ayesha Takia his lady love. The film is a remake of the Tamil and Telugu hit ‘Pokiri’ and is a brilliant combo of humor, action and romance.
